HOW TO MAKE NUT MILK

 

                                                                               Waffles

 

31/2  c milk

31/2 c water

7 c oats

1/2 c whole wheat flour

1/2 cup raw cashew meal

1/2 c cornmeal

2 tbsp. Vegetable oil

2 tbsp. Honey

1/2 tsp. Salt

 

Blend ingredients. Pour  batter evenly into hot waffle iron that has been sprayed with Pam, or equivalent. Bake  8-10 minutes.

   Top                                                                   Ice Cream

 

Peel ripe banana, place in freezer bags at least 24 hours or until frozen. Place in blender with fruit of choice, strawberries or pineapple.

Add fruit juice enough to keep banana firm. Pineapple juice or passion fruit are good choices. Add a touch of honey and vanilla

                                                                    Best Granola

 

6 c rolled oats

1/2 c sesame seeds

1/2 c nuts, your choice

1 tsp salt

1/2 c water

1/4 c oil

Mix all dry ingredients together.

Add liquid ingredients, mix well using your hands. Spread on baking sheet one hour at 350 degrees mix well and turn every 15 minutes.

Add dry fruit after baking.

Raisins, coconut, dates, etc.

                                                                            Millet Pudding

 

1 c hot millet

1/2 tsp salt

1 c pineapple juice

1 tsp vanilla

1 tbsp cashews

 

Blend all ingredients until smooth, pour into a serving dish layer with fruit of choice. Chill

                                                                            Scrambled Tofu

 

1 cup tomato, chopped

1 cup onion, chopped

1 cup sweet pepper

1 lb tofu

1 tbsp Tumeric

1 tbsp chicken style seasoning

1 tsp vege sal

2 tbsp yeast flakes

Dash cayenne pepper

 

Instructions:

Saute the first three ingredients oil allow to cook for a few minutes. Add mashed tofu. Add all seasoning, allow to simmer for 10 Minutes on low heat.

                                                                           How to make nut milk

 

1 cup water

1/2 tsp honey

1/4 tsp almond flavoring

4 cup water

1/2 cup blanched almonds

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp salt

 

Blend all but the last 4 cups of water on  high for 1-2 minutes until creamy.  Stop blender add other ingredients. Blend briefly.  Pour into pitcher and serve immediately.
