This week we will move a step higher, into the topic DRESSED, R U? But before we do, we must ask for a double outpouring of GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT. Why? Because what we are going to look at today, can only be OVERCOME; by HIS POWER! Did you know; the Bible said that you and I are: “…fearfully [and] wonderfully made…?” PSALMS 139:14. So, if we believe this to be true; then why don’t we all show it by being contented the way GOD made each of us? Today more than 80% of our women, and about 30% of our men, don’t like the way GOD made them. How’s that; you ask? The people in the percentage listed above are not happy, because if they were, they would be very pleased with how GOD made their; hair, eyes, nails, skin, breasts, hips, and face. And If that wasn’t enough; some have gone so far as to have a sex change, from man to woman and from woman to man. And if you are thinking it’s only the world acting this way, you better, think again. You see, if the world is guilty of any of the things listed above, that’s what the world is suppose to be doing. But, the world and the church are running side by side with the things listed above. But you say; that’s not true! Then that means you are both blind and deaf. So let us put these eight points to the test. Hair; GOD give us hair, but we say the hair that HE gave us, is now out-dated, and it has been replaced with; Smooth silky straight texture or Bijoux 100% Synthetic fiber. Eyes; GOD gave us a color but we say no-thanks GOD, We’ll change the color with some contact-lens. Nails; GOD give us the color and the length HE loves, but we say we’ll cover them up with some of; Tammy Taylor nails, so we can get the length we want, and color. Then we will air brush our new nails, because that painting stuff is out-dated. And GOD, before we forget these toe-nails aren’t-cutting it, ok. Skin; GOD made us all different colors, but, some of us are not happy with the color of our skin, so what are we using? Ambi; skin care! Breasts; GOD gave us what we need but we say; these breasts are not big enough, so I’ll put in some silicone-implants. Some say; these breasts are too big so I need to get a reductions, not for medical reason, but to get the right size. Hips; GOD made our hips, and yes, some have gone so far as to make them bigger, or smaller. Face; GOD made our face, but some of us not please with our face. So; they got a-face-lift, and paint their face, like Jezebel. Sex change; GOD made us male and female, but the devil comes along and say to some men and woman GOD have made a mistake, but don’t worry, says the devil; my doctors can fix that, we can change your sexual organs, from male, to female and from female, to male. Today if you want to know whose, who, let the standard of GOD’S word tell you, and not you’re ears, eyes or feeling. AMEN! The bible tells us: “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbors…” and: “Thou shalt not covet…” EXODUS 20:16, 17. Today, how many of us stand guilty of bearing a false witness, and coveting the wrong things? Brother’s and Sister’s, how many hours do we spend and throw away, studying this or that fashion to decorate our poor, mortal body? Let us not forget, as we appear like the world, and as beautiful as we try to be, we do it all, in vain. For if we are fulfilling our own taste, and living to please our own eyes, we are dying spiritually, all though we are alive. Forgetting; that in a few days our bodies may-be food, for worms. Today, before it’s a day too late, let us remember that our high calling is: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” ZECHARIAH 4:6. But if we care not to change our course, forget-not, that in the judgment, GOD will bring to mind our vain, wicked pride and how we died filled with corruption and uncleanness, from within and without. Question; what will it profited us, if we shall gain the whole world, and loses our soul? Or what could we give in exchange for our soul? Answer, nothing!!!
