FALSE PROPHETS PT.2

On last week, we began our quest to identify: “The False Prophets, In the World!” The question is my friend; did you take the time to identify them? Or, were you among those who were too busy? Or, you were maybe one who said, JESUS left US an impossibility? As I moved around last week, I took the time to ask those who I came in contact with if they were asked to identify: “The False Prophets, In the World,” would be able to do so? Some said yes. Others were indeed; speechless. Yes, and some even said; won’t I be judging if I were to identify: “The False Prophets, In the World?” If a False Prophet cannot be identified friends, this means, those who say JESUS left US an impossibility, are right! Hence, it also means JESUS should have never said: “Beware of false prophets...” MATTHEW 7:15. WE must also conclude that JESUS too, is a False Prophets! Thus, with the power of the HOLY SPIRIT resting upon US, let US pull the words of JESUS apart, to show that JESUS was not a false prophet, and it is indeed possible to identify who are, “The False Prophets, In the World!” Firstly; the word Beware means: ‘be vigilant, or, to be on guard against somebody or something.’ Secondly: the word False means: ‘incorrect, not conforming to facts or truth.’ Thirdly; the word Prophet means: ‘somebody who claims to interpret or transmit the commands of GOD.’ Truly friends, if we are led by the SPIRIT of GOD we will be able to see why JESUS uses the words: Beware, False and Prophets! Hence, those three words go together like a hand fit into a glove! Friends, the psalmist David said it correctly, when he said: “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” PSALMS 119:11. How many of us, can say the same? “A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land” says the prophet Jeremiah “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love [to have it] so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” JEREMIAN 5:30, 31. A solemn question indeed; but few are giving heed to it! One of the most powerful text in the Bible that can be use to identify whose a False Prophet, says: “To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.” ISAIAH 8:20. In other words, if those who PREACH the gospel are not using these two principles, the LAW and the TESTIMONY, their light is out and those who are following them, are being led by those who JESUS call, False Prophets. When JESUS walked among men He said: “For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes; and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” MATTHEW 13:15. The Jews willfully closed their eyes and their ears, and barred their hearts with prejudice, lest they should see a better way, and thus be aroused from their pleasant dreams of carnal security. The sad reality is my friends; this present generation is pursuing the same course! As a matter of fact: the great masses of mankind are unwilling to exchange their error, for truth! They are truly: satisfied with their present condition, and have no desire to be converted! What a sad commentary! For truly friends, if you are one who takes the time to study the Strictures daily, you can say without contradiction, that indeed the False Prophets of today have most of the people following THEM, and not JESUS. This is why JESUS said: “…if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” MATTHEW 15:14. Sometimes Pastors and members alike get upset when those who are called of GOD to ‘CALL SIN BY IT RIGHT NAME’ do so! Today, GOD is looking for those who are willing to stand alone, and tell HIS children of the danger that’s ahead. But, the good news is, it may appear as if they are standing alone, but they are not: “…for he, (JESUS) hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” HEBREWS 13:5. Therefore, the world must be warned, for GOD has called US to this work. If WE neglect our duty, souls will be lost through our unfaithfulness. The work of saving souls is no child's play! This work requires earnest, untiring labor to wrench the prey of Satan from his grasp. WE must, do it now!
