On Tuesday July 12, 2005 The Tribune ran a story in its paper about what Bishop Neil Ellis had to say about the illegal Immigration problem in the Bahamas. Today I would like to share with you what the Word of GOD has to say about what Bishop Ellis said. Base on what was said, Bishop Ellis appears to be fearful and want us as a people to be fearful also, when the bible tells us: “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”. 2 TIMOTHY 1:7. Bishop Ellis: “Warned Bahamians that if something is not done with the illegal immigration problem, especially the large numbers of Haitians living in the country, then future generations of Bahamians may find themselves fighting for freedom in their own country”. But the bible tells the children of GOD this world is not our home! Why? “We are looking for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God”, and we are: “Strangers and pilgrims on the earth”. HEBREWS 11:10,13. Bishop Ellis also talked about CSME saying: “CSME was not good for us. We can’t handle freedom of people moving up and down to work in the Bahamas from other Caribbean countries. We can’t handle it. We are overloaded now”. But is it, CSME that’s going to give the people of GOD Problems? NO! It will be when: “No man might buy or sell, save he that had the MARK or the name of THE BEAST, or the number of his name” and this will be upon: “All, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond”. REVELATION 13:16, 17. You see money will always be here, but you will not be able to spend it unless you have THE MARK of THE BEAST. Bishop Ellis also talked about Witchcraft, saying Haitians: Practice witchcraft worship in Haiti, but in the Bahamas, while some may practice witchcraft, “we as a people do not corporately endorse witchcraft”. Could it be that Bishop Ellis is also Practicing witchcraft and don’t even know it? You see, in Bishop Ellis sermon he took his text from LUKE 13:10-17, when you read those verses from the text you will see that the bible tells us that: “JESUS was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath”, and it was not Sunday the first day but Saturday the seventh day. You see the bible tell us a Bishop should be one who knows how to “TEACH” and if he can’t he should not be a Bishop. So when Bishop Ellis leads GODS people to Church every Sunday, is he Obeying the word of GOD? NO, He is not! The bible tells us the seventh day [is] the Sabbath of the LORD thy God”. EXODUS 20:10. So if Bishop Ellis is not doing what the bible says, He is rebelling? YES! And the bible says: “REBELLION [is as] the SIN of WITCHCRAFT and STUBBORNNESS [is as] INIQUITY and IDOLATRY”. 1 SAMUEL 15:23. So for now, when GOD looks upon the earth HE doesn’t only see the Haitians Practicing witchcraft but also Bishop Ellis. Brothers and Sisters Pray for them all, that they will do what’s right. He also talked about: how he has to fight to make sure when his son and daughter get married they have land to build on” but JESUS told us: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions” JOHN 14:1,2.  Bishop Ellis also talked about: “Christian values” and “Tourism”. But the question we need to asked, do we practices Christian values? NO! Because a Christian is one who is always walking in the steps of JESUS! Bishop Ellis also boasts about how the Bahamas is the only country in the Caribbean region whose dollar is on par with the powerful United States of America and has $ 800 million in foreign reserves. And he thanks GOD. But is all of this money clean money? You see every dollar that did not come through the right means, the government will have to give an account, to GOD. Right now… the hand writing is on the wall and most of us art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting and JESUS is weeping for us right now!!!
