December 15, 2006 marked one week, since the passing of our “National Health Insurance Scheme (NHI)!” Now Dr Nottage is saying; NHI cost could rise! Another sad reality is friends; our Education Minister, Mr. Alfred Sears said, “Regulations are not yet put in place; therefore, the NHI scheme won’t be ready to come into effect for another year.” So then, my friends, it would be wise of US, to follow, GOD’S health plan! For HIS plan is up; and running! Its also amazing friends; that in our constitution, it is said that this is a ‘Christian Nation,’ but sadly, those that truly believe this to be so, want little, or nothing to do with the Christian Manual! For surly if they did, they would be looking into the Manual for the instruction to see how best to ‘HEAL the SICK, in our LAND!’ What’s even more sickening is, some of US know more about our, watches, cars, computers, washers, TV’S, DVD players, and last but not least, even our cell phones! How come? We have study these worldly manuals, from cause to effect! While GOD’S Heavenly Manual is almost, totally rejected! Some on the other hand; want nothing to do with it! In fact, JESUS tells us why! When HE said: “…men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil.” JOHN 3:19. What a sad commentary! No wonder GOD’S Manual said, the: “…elements (listed above) shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2 PETER 3:10. Not only will those things listed about be burned-up, but all those who destroy their bodies! For: “If any man (or woman) defiles the temple of God, him (or her) shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are” said the Apostles Paul.1 CORINTHIANS 3:17. Hence, each of US will do well, too study GOD’S manual for ourselves, if not, the penned words Hosea the prophet, will be fulfilled in our lives, and the lives of our children! “My people (says GOD) are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the ‘law of thy God,’ I will also forget thy children.” HOSEA 4:6. This is why we are told to: “STUDY to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Surely friends, if GOD’S children were STUDYING their MANUAL’S, our LAND would not be as filled with so many ‘Nominal Christians!’ For it is impossible for ONE to study the pages of GOD’S HOLY MANUAL, and then, remain the same, for each page is stamped with the Blood of JESUS CHRIST! If only our Parliamentarians would take the word of GOD as it reads, then, and only then, would the Bahamas be the model of the world, for we would not be lifting up ourselves, but JESUS, and HIM Crucified! Our government is on the record saying, they will “make a stronger push to advocate ‘healthier living’ for Bahamians.” There’s only one way this can happen friends, the government will have to pass a law, to stop those things from being imported, and made, which is not good for our health. For example, there has been much talk in the medical arena about how the AIDS virus destroys the immune system. But when last, have you heard the medical Doctors say, ‘SUGAR,’ also destroys the immune system? Yes friend, ‘SUGAR’ is one of the most dangerous things that is being imported, into our land. Over a hundred years ago Ellen White wrote: “…SUGAR, when largely used, is more injurious than meat.” Today, scientific research is saying this is indeed a fact! Studies have shown, if WE would just take sugar out of our diet, we would find ourselves ‘living healthier’ and longer! But, predating Mrs. White and scientific research was GOD’S Manual, which said: “It is not good to eat much honey.” Proverbs 25:27. No wonder, a number of different CANCERS have been statistically linked to SUGAR consumption in scientific studies. To date, there are 8 CANCERS linked to SUGAR intake! They are; CANCER of the Colon, Rectal, Breast, Ovarian, Uterine, Prostate, Kidney and the Nervous System! In light of all this research, won’t it be wise for US to stay away from SUGAR?
