The great damage which “The Liquor-Sellers” and “The Law-Makers,” have cause throughout the years, should not be taking lightly! For in the judgment; not only will THEY stand guilty, but all those who played a part, and benefited! How is that; you asked? In the Bahamas we have something in our law call, “Being Concern Together” which says, if no-one takes responsibility for the crime that was committed; our police officers have the power to arrest all, who were there when the crime took place. By doing this, the police are then able to-get-to the bottom of what truly, took place. Well friends, if our earthly system can be so strict on the crimes which are committed; how much more should our heavenly FATHER be, when HE sees all of the crime, sickness and death of which ‘Liquor-Drinking,’ has brought upon our land, and the world-over! There are hundreds of sickly people today, who are only sick because they are ‘Drinking Alcohol.’ But sickness is not apart of GODS plan for HIS children. If fact, the Bible says: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and ‘BE IN HEALTH,’ even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 JOHN 2. Our world is filled with medical Doctors, who should know of the damage; too which Alcohol Drinking has cause. Sadly though, just the other day one of our local Doctors was on one of our calling shows, telling the listeners that one or two beers a day is not bad. Friends, that Doctor should have been arrested for what, he said. WHY? All Doctors should know of the damage Alcohol Drinking has cause upon those who drink; body parts. Doctor Neil Nedley, M.D. in his book ‘Proof Positive’ says: “It is astonishing to (him) that the news media is so enthusiastic about proclaiming the virtues of drinking alcohol “in moderation” when there is such a long list of severe problems caused by both moderate and heavy alcohol consumption. Some of the problems are: High blood pressure, Strokes, Heart problems, Elevated triglycerides, Impaired sexual function, Low blood sugar, Vitamin and mineral deficiency, Chronic fatigue, Osteoporosis, Gout, Rhabdomyolysis, Body weight control, Anemia, Decreased number of blood platelets and Increased severity and duration of menstrual cramps, these things listed can occur with as little as one drink of alcohol per week.” He said. Pgs. 431, 432. I thank GOD; WE still have Doctors today, who would tell GOD’S children, the truth. The problem is would we, GOD’S children, listen? Friends, you may study your Bible from GENESIS to REVELATION, and you would not find one Bible text, where GOD puts HIS stamp of approval upon the ‘DRINKING of fermented WINE.’ Our religious institutions have let us down, Brothers and Sisters. They need to catch up with the scientific facts and with the theologians who have very careful studied the Scriptures and have found that the Bible nowhere sanctions alcohol consumption, or rum drinking. In light of the overwhelming scientific findings against the use of alcohol, even in low amounts, religious institutions must now accept a major responsibility for the use of this legal drug and all of its associated premature deaths, distressing medical conditions, and social trauma. Yes friends, not only will “Liquor-Sellers” and “Law-Makers,” find themselves outside the “NEW JERUSALEM” but all of those so-call preachers of righteousness, who said nothing about this evil, that’s in our land. Even those who work for these Liquor companies, will be lost at the end of time if continue to work for these places. Today, where-the-you are the Husband, Wife, or Child, if you are benefiting, in anyway from those ‘Liquor-Sales’ you too, stand guilty before the GOD of HEAVEN. But you maybe saying, how will I then be able to pay the bills? The Bible gives the answer to this question friend, when it said: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” MATTHEW 6:33. What a wonderful promise, left by our LORD and SAVOUIR! Do you believe it friend? I do! For WE are dealing with a “God, that cannot lie” Amen!
