THE CHURCH; SPIRITUAL or FUNKY? PT.1

If Pastors were asked, is “The Church; Spiritual or Funky?” I believe 99% of Pastors would say; the Church is Spiritual and 1% would say the Church is Funky. Which of the Pastors should WE believe; the 99% or the 1%? Before we answer, let us ask for the SPIRIT of GOD to fall afresh on US, today! Friends, if we believe the 99%, over the 1%, it means we are not looking at the Church through the eyes of JESUS. So what is it that the 1% sees that the 99% don’t see, you ask? Well, the church was commissioned by GOD to call HIS people from “darkness into GOD’S marvellous light.” But today, the Church has become darkness! How’s that you ask? You see Christian friends, GOD has called some of us in the church from, The Banana Boat, The Cat and Fiddle, Four & A-Half, Pastiche, Zoo Night Club, King & Knights, Club 601, The Jokers Wild, The Dundas, and many others night spots, and the devil knew quite-well that we had our minds made-up, that we would never return to those night spots, so what did he do? The devil brought those things that only once use to take place at those night spots, to the Church of the living GOD. And 99% of Pastors and Members are saying, amen devil! And 1% of Pastors and Members, are left to “sigh and that cry for all the abominations that taking place in the Church!” Friends; the devil has taken out all the stops! And this is why the Bible says: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” 1 PETER 5:8. Has he devoured you? Oh no, you say! Friends the reality is, if you are tied to a Church that is, Dancing, Dramatizing the Gospel, “Christian Comedian,” liturgical dancers, and many more so-call spiritual acts, the devil has devoured you! But you say times have change brother, is that so, by whom? Brother, we are living in the new dispensation now. Did the new dispensation change the rules? NO! For the Bible tells us: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” And the time has come, that we: “Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines.” HEBREWS 13:8, 9. The Bible tells us: “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning…” ROMANS 15:4. So is there anything written in the Bible, for our modern day dances? Yes! The Bible said: “when Moses went to commune with GOD on mount Sinai, to get the 10 commandments he left Aaron in charge. And when Moses and Joshua returned the people were dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, so hot that he broke-up the 10 commandments. The people [were] also naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto [their] shame among their enemies:) Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, who [is] on the LORD'S side? [let him come] unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.” EXODUS 32:1-35. Today GOD is asking us the same question; who [is] on the LORD'S side? JESUS said: “It is written, my house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” MATTHEW 21:13. That’s right; the Pastors of today have turned the Churches into dances halls, Jokers Wild clubs, entertainment centers, and the sad truth is: “the people love [to have it] so” why? “The Pastors have prophesied falsely” saying, “Peace, peace; when [there is] no peace.” Now the Church and Hollywood are running side by side! The Pastor is the star of the show, and the devil is the director, and he has the Pastor and members doing all his biddings. But you ask; how can this be? Well the Bible says: “Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their Works.” 2 CORINTHIANS 11:14, 15. No wonder the GOD call these Pastors “greedy dogs [which] can never have enough,” and Pastors who “cannot understand…” ISAIAH 56:11. So today with the SPIRIT’S help let us study the word of GOD for ourselves, because when time should be no-more it will be you, and JESUS!!!
